About the book: 2020 / Yuri Polyakov (born in 1954) is a modern Russian playwright. His plays and dramatizations are widely staged in Russia, the CIS, and abroad. In November 2015, the first international theater festival “Smotriny” was held, entirely dedicated to Polyakov’s work. This is the only festival of a living playwright in the country.
