About the book: a year / About eight years ago, a representative of some Siberian university approached me with a request to write an essay, like those that schoolchildren write. I was asked to take any work from the school curriculum and analyze the “image” of any of the characters. The offer seemed interesting and I agreed. I wrote an essay based on Ivan Goncharov’s novel “Oblomov” and even received some money for it. They never sent me a copy of the collection. And now I found this text among the mossy files and bring it to your kind attention. I think the text is quite interesting.
