About the book: year / According to theosophical doctrine, the pattern of our evolution represents seven successive incarnations of the planetary chain. At present, our Earthly chain, consisting of seven planetary spheres located on different planes, is the fourth incarnation of the chain in the scheme. Its third incarnation, the so-called Lunar Chain, preceded the modern period of evolution. The natural satellite of our planet - as it looks now - is just, so to speak, the pitiful remains of the physical core of the previous planetary chain, which passed the baton of evolution to its successor. The text offered to the reader is a translation of several chapters of the book “Man: Whence, How and Whither, a Record of Clairvoyant Investigation,” first published in 1913.
