About the book: year / The story "Podlipovtsy" not only created a literary name for the author, democratic writer Fyodor Mikhailovich Reshetnikov (1841-1871), but also remains to this day the most his famous work. This collection, along with “Podlipovtsy”, includes other noteworthy works of the writer: the cycle “Mining People” and the unfinished novel “Miners”, acutely social, revealing stories “Grandchild” and “Philharmonic Concert”, as well as passages almost unknown to the general reader from the diary of F.M. Reshetnikov.
