After another boring date with one of her boyfriends, she accidentally finds herself in the unfamiliar world of Vanach, where the ancient Middle Ages reign with strict rules and patriarchy. The younger prince Darren Aliston makes a mistake during the ritual and pulls the girl out of her familiar world. Together, Darren and Ashley are trying to find a way to return the girl to her native and familiar world. In the new world, Ashley awaits interesting adventures and dangerous acquaintances, new feelings and familiar fears. The book is a little different from the usual literature about travelers between worlds, since it describes not only the world into which the main character finds herself and her attempts to adapt to the new reality, but also the modern world. The book shows real places in Toronto that the heroine visits.
