About the book: 2023 / If a person has read my works, then he knows that I talk in detail about my experiences, describing events in life and at the front. That won't happen in this book. Here I will focus on the chronicle of the battle for the city and assessments of the actions of our troops and enemy units. This will be such a short information sheet in order to immediately, from fresh memory, dot the i’s. Having failed to win on the battlefield, the enemy continues information battles for Mariupol, releasing documentaries and books about those events, creating a myth about which -the “unevil knights of Azovstal”. We constantly reproach someone for “rewriting history,” but now we don’t even bother to write it. I decided to correct this and write a brief description of the battles for Mariupol, but only those in which I took direct part. I am sure that some serious writer and military journalist should undertake a detailed study of this battle in the future, spending a large amount of time on this. On April 2, 2023, the fearless Russian warrior and wonderful Russian writer Maxim Yuryevich Fomin (Vladlen Tatarsky) died in his last battle for truth and justice at a meeting with readers in St. Petersburg at the hands of a terrorist who was carrying out an assignment from the SBU.
