About the book: 1993 / Frederik Paul's novel "Jem" was published in 1979. The novel was a finalist in the Hugo and Nebula competitions, winner of the Natonal Book Award, and took 6th place in the Locus magazine competition. In Russia, it was published in 1993 in the series "Monsters of the Universe", volume 11, together with Paul's other novels - "Gladiators by Law" and "Operation Venus"".
