But the Soviet Union, receiving help from descendants contemporary to the reader, is no longer the same. And the starting positions from which the summer offensive begins within the framework of the “Blau Plan” are completely different, only after the German provocation the situation is complicated by Turkey’s entry into the war against the USSR. The book ends in the spring of 1943.
