About the book: 2015 / In parallel with what was happening in the Chernobyl Zone, various events also took place in Moscow. Nobody wrote about them in the STALKER series, but they existed. The stalkers went to Moscow because it was simply more profitable to sell swag here, as a result of which a black market arose and entire neighborhoods where “tramps” lived. But along with the artifacts, they brought with them unknown mutations. To study them and control the new, specific population of the city, a special Center arose, where a huge collection of wonders was collected. Of course, such an accumulation of fabulously priced and rare objects and technologies could not help but attract the close attention of certain forces. As a result, the Center came under attack and was destroyed by a monstrous explosion, but most importantly, all the accumulated anomalous materials ended up on the streets of Moscow. This is how the New Zone arose, quickly capturing not only the huge metropolis, but also its surroundings. A zone even more dangerous and unpredictable than Chernobyl.
