It debuted in 2005 and immediately gained great popularity both in Italy (several literary awards) and abroad (translations into more than twenty languages). Milena Agus's stories are touching and ironic, and the characters are cute and ridiculous. They live in a semi-fictional world, but in some important ways it turns out to be stronger and more truthful than the real world.
