The first gasoline-powered cars existed together with giant balloons for hundreds of passengers and magical engines. Magical power depends on the reserve, which for the vast majority is small. Ordinary ignorant magicians are only capable of moving the mobiles of aristocrats or driving balloons. But fighting aristos can easily incinerate a person. The main character is still a youth of sixteen years old, an orphan and a pupil of an imperial orphanage. Together with his little sister, he tries to survive in this world, fighting off youth gangs, extortionist educators and other scum. His salvation is only in cunning, incredible stubbornness and rat cruelty.
