Unfinished by the author due to his premature death, they cover the period of his childhood and youth. Vivid impressions of life on the family estate in Tula, which took place in close proximity to the people, insight into the Russian character and needs of the peasants, awareness of hard work on the land as the basis of the moral and spiritual existence of the nation, reflections on the paths of historical development of Russia. The book uses photographs and visual materials from the family archives of the Vyrubovs (Paris) and E. Yu. Lvova (Moscow). The appendices contain memories of Prince G. E. Lvov, responses to his death in the Russian emigrant press, materials about the history of the family.
