About the book: 2021 / As it turns out, not everything is immediately successful for the people who come across it and no one is especially waiting for them here, since there is no production base in a country with a predominantly peasant, practically illiterate population. After the twists and turns of fate, the inventor decides to become a military official, having received an offer from the intelligence department of the General Staff. He continues to invent, which immediately makes him a target for competitors and high-ranking officials who want to remove the upstart away from the throne: God forbid he claims their piece of the pie. Such “well-wishers” arrange another trick, as a result of which he ends up in a hospital bed. But even here, the resilient inventor does not waste time, defends his master’s thesis and continues to invent. After leaving the hospital, he remains out of work and receives instructions to organize a mission to Abyssinia.
