About the book: 2012 / The book is dedicated to the study of the work of N.V. Gogol. Particular attention is paid to the problem of the author's psychophysical interventions, which, along with cultural and social factors, form the aesthetic whole of Gogol's text. In other words, the book makes an attempt to see the total presence of the author in the organization of Gogol’s plot, in various symbolic and metaphorical details. The author's personal ontology, transformed into the aesthetics of the created text, is the main subject of this study. The book is addressed to philosophers, literary critics, art critics, and anyone interested in the psychology of creativity and theoretical poetics.
