About the book: 2015 / In the history of Rus', Grand Duke Vladimir Vsevolod the Big Nest occupies a special place. Together with his father Yuri Dolgoruky and his elder brother Andrei Bogolyubsky, he laid the foundations of the power of North-Eastern Rus', turned Vladimir after Novgorod and Kyiv into another all-Russian capital and became one of the most authoritative princes - the Rurikovichs at the turn of the 12th-13th centuries. After the destructive Horde invasion, only the descendants of Vsevolod were able to restore the former greatness of Rus' with a new center - Moscow, and overthrow the hated three-hundred-year yoke. All this allows us to consider this prince the predecessor and even the ancestor of the great princes of Moscow, who created the Russian centralized state in the 15th century - the basis of modern Russia.
