About the book: 2010 / In the book of the famous historian and writer S.A. Ekshtuta is about Russia during the Great Reforms. This was the time when the centuries-old way of all Russian life was broken. Educated society was seething, irreconcilable opinions clashed with each other. But the truth was not born in the dispute, and the confrontation led to mutual alienation: children demonstratively broke with their parents, and former friends became enemies. The “energy of delusion” of youth was aimed not at creation, but at destruction. The relationship between government and society, relations between classes, moral principles and family values ​​have changed radically. The author pays special attention to the latter.
