The numbering of footnotes has been replaced from page by page to continuous. The format of the footnotes has also been changed. In the printed original they were designated as follows: 1). In an e-book, the footnote number is placed in square brackets. The original spelling is preserved. Discharge is replaced by bold highlighting.
