About the book: 1955 / Ambassador Kelefi comes to the United States to conduct crucial negotiations on concessions. The concession applicants meet with Kelefi at the dacha of one of the businessmen. The ambassador expressed a desire to taste the famous “Texas-style trout” performed by the no less famous Nero Wolfe. Thus, Wolfe is present at the reception as the cook, and Goodwin is the cook's driver. The meeting takes place in a tense atmosphere, and in addition one of the guests is killed. Local police are trying to blame Goodwin for the murder. Wulf will have to work hard to expose the killer and quickly go home.
