MediaDB / «Explosive diver" H. Macaron, V. Shtyrkin: download fb2, read online
About the book: 1956 / Blasting operations are widely used in rescue and ship-lifting and in underwater technical work. The force of the explosion destroys underwater rocks, clears fairways, dismantles sunken ships and vessels, destroys ice jams, etc. The use of explosives, along with the use of electrical energy and compressed air, makes it possible to facilitate the work of divers and speed up the performance of underwater work. In the training manual “Diver- Explosive" contains brief information about explosives, means and methods of detonation; the manufacture of underwater charges, methods of their placement and the performance of various underwater blasting operations, as well as general safety regulations for these works are discussed in detail. The manual is compiled for training divers (sailors and petty officers) in underwater blasting.
