About the book: 2024 / The story takes place in Old Rome - an alternative universe where Austria, Switzerland and France have become part of Italy. The capital is divided into two parts - Old Rome and New Rome. The main character, Bianca Azzurra Fantoni, is a 19-year-old girl who works as a clown in a small circus. Like her mother, Vivian, Bianca continues the family business, but life is not easy; after accusing her mother of having connections with the mafia and bandits, Bianca is forced to live with her old grandfather in a dilapidated two-room apartment. She is not discouraged and works diligently, the only thing that worries her is that for the past year she periodically finds herself standing at night somewhere in Old Rome in a clown costume, sometimes covered in blood, sometimes with papers or documents that she sees for the first time in my life. All this begins to frighten and terrify Bianca more and more when she finds out that someone in a clown suit has started a real hunt for the mafia of Old Rome.
