About the book: year / The time has come for the decisive battle of Blacks and Whites. The old world is coming to an end: the mighty and unshakable Engoard Empire is being trampled by enemies in black robes. In a grandiose battle, the troops of white wizards are defeated. The leaders are killed or fled, their armies are scattered, their lands are captured. The winners rejoice - but Sorgen does not feel joy. He is devastated and confused. He loses the meaning of life and allows himself to be killed by the wife of a defeated enemy. But this is not the end of the story: black sorcerers serve their masters even after death.
