MediaDB / «Spartak: 7 years of strict regime” Alexander Viktorovich Bubnov: download fb2, read online
About the book: 2014 / This is a book about the Moscow “Spartak” of the 80s. Not a single Soviet team of that era showed such a spectacular game as Spartak. For many years, while it was led by Konstantin Beskov and Nikolai Starostin, not one of them was so consistently among the prize-winners of the USSR Championship. And not a single one enjoyed the same undivided love among the people. However, outside the football field, Spartak was a tangle of contradictions. The players hated Beskov, Starostin dreamed of removing him from the club, and Beskov, the “dictator with velvet gloves,” mercilessly cut down any heresy. And all this - in the name of football, without which neither Beskov, nor Starostin, nor the players could imagine their lives. And in the name of Spartak, for which it was the dream of most Soviet football players to play. This book is an honest story about Beskov and Starostin, Cherenkov and Gavrilov, Dasaev and Romantsev and other Spartak players against the backdrop of Soviet life in the 80s. A story about difficult people with whom Alexander Bubnov had the opportunity to work, play and live for seven years.
