About the book: 2012 / Before you is a new book by O.G. Goncharenko, telling about the difficult life of soldiers and officers of the Russian army in forced emigration in 1920-1970. The author, using little-known sources, recreates in detail the life and life of exiles in camps on Turkish soil and in the countries of dispersion, talks about the process of transforming the Russian army into the Russian All-Military Union (EMRO), the struggle of the active part of the emigration against the special services of the USSR. Particular attention is paid to the period of World War II and the participation of EMRO officials in it, as well as the fate of these people after 1945. The book is complemented by a story about the political and spiritual heritage of officer unions and military organizations.
