MediaDB / «Knights of the White Dream (Trilogy)" Nikolai Andreev: download fb2, read online
About the book: year / Abstract: I am posting the trilogy in one volume. At the same time, I’m looking for a publisher for it. Volume 1. February 1917. The rebellion in Petrograd was suppressed by troops loyal to the throne, the Petrograd Soviet was defeated, Alexander Kerensky died in battle. The worst page of Russian history has been crossed out and completely rewritten. There will be neither a powerless Provisional Government, nor a Bolshevik coup, nor the obscene Brest Peace. In the spring of 1917, the Russian army - for the first time since the beginning of the war, abundantly supplied with everything necessary, not corrupted by defeatist propaganda - was preparing for a decisive offensive on all fronts. Volume 2. Spring, 1917. The February Revolution was suppressed by troops loyal to the throne. Russian history took a different path. In April, a decisive offensive begins on all fronts. The new Brusilov breakthrough crushes the Austrian defense. Desperate attacks by Russian infantry, supported by armadas of Ilya Muromets heavy bombers, sweep away German fortifications on the Northern Front. General Wrangel's First Cavalry Army goes on a deep raid into enemy rear areas. The Russian landing force lands in Constantinople - to the menacing roar of naval artillery, to the victorious marches of military bands raising the troops for the final assault: “The thunder of victory, ring out! Rejoice, brave Ross!”... Volume 3. Will the secret investigation confirm that Guchkov, Miliukov, Lvov, Kerensky and Co. were preparing the February Revolution since 15? What will counterintelligence officer Bobrev choose: happiness in love or the good of Russia? Will A.I. Spiridovich, the former head of the Tsar’s security, be able to finally challenge Guchkov to a duel? What will Grand Duke Kirill (aka Kirill Sizov) sacrifice to prevent the danger of a new revolution? You can find out by reading the book.
