About the book: 2002 / "Snakesucker" is the most famous novel by Yegor Radov. Was written in 1989. It was published clandestinely in 1992 and had wide success in literary circles. Was translated and published in Finland. This is a philosophical science fiction novel, the plot of which is based on the ability of people to reincarnate and change bodies. Radov's style, clearly expressed in subsequent books, is strongly influenced by Dostoevsky and the experimental "narcotic" tradition. Stream of consciousness, internal monologues, complete conventionality of characters and violation of literary conventions are the main elements of Radov's early prose. This is a real postmodern novel. The magazine “Image”, Finland writes about Yegor Radov and his novel: “...belongs to a famous literary family and, to his horror, he writes fantastic stories that reject all taboos. He also wrote a novel called Snakesucker, in the style of a Chinese magical horror novel, in which an infantile hero wanders from one world to another.».
