About the book: 2006 / Collected works of the largest poet and prose writer of Russian China Arseny Nesmelov (pseudonym of Arseny Ivanovich Mitropolsky; 1889–1945) is published for the first time. It is no coincidence that this happens in Vladivostok: it was here in 1920–1924. Nesmelov published his first three mature books of poetry, and it was from here in early June 1924 that he left on foot across the border to China, where he lived for more than twenty years. The first volume of the collected works included almost all of Nesmelov’s poetic works identified to date, signed by his main pseudonym (works, signed with the pseudonym “Nikolai Dozorov”, are given only in samples), and many of them saw the light only many years after the death of the poet in the fall of 1945. In addition to Nesmelov’s lifetime poetry books, this edition contains - for the first time in such a volume - poems and poems that were not included in the collections.
