About the book: 2016 / The heroes of the novel "Today and yesterday, the day before yesterday and the day after tomorrow" are connected by family ties, fragments of the personal life stories of five generations are traced, starting from the end of the 19th century until 2040. Among them are the son of a priest and a shoemaker, an accountant and an officer, the daughter of a security officer and the daughter of a nobleman, a relative of a famous Russian writer. The rebellious spirit of the revolution, the first and second world wars, Stalinist repressions, times of stagnation and the technogenic future interfere with their destinies. All this is presented as a simultaneous cross-section of different times, the interconnection of programs passed down from generation to generation is traced, determining the emergence of insoluble contradictions between men and women, and the more children try to avoid the mistakes of their parents, denying their path, the more they stumble upon similar stones that break their family life. But they have a choice to understand who they are and why they came to this Earth and what place love has on this endless path, and they have the power to walk their path so that those who come after them can grow further, changing themselves and world.
