About the book: year / A reliable Russian-language version of the rock opera by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber in an equirhythmic translation by Vyacheslav Ptitsyn. The most important of the few innovations made in this edition opera, is the inclusion of an additional scene “Will it all be the same again?”, written by the authors in 1971 for the stage production and included in the film by N. Jewison. Minor deviations from the original text given here were allowed in the performance.
