MediaDB / «History of Siberia. From Ermak to Catherine II" Pyotr Slovtsov: download fb2, read online
About the book: 2012 / The unique work of the remarkable thinker Pyotr Andreevich Slovtsov (1767–1843) "Historical Review of Siberia" is rightly called the "encyclopedia of Siberian life" . Slovtsov comprehensively showed the careful settlement of Siberia by Russians for more than two centuries after the campaign of Ermak’s squad. The scientist planned to bring the research up to the reign of Alexander I, but in reality the detailed coverage of events ends with the first goals of the reign of Catherine II (some notes, however, relate to the 1830s and early 1840s). The wise Slovtsov has only one in Siberia - so ordered History itself - it’s not for nothing that he is called the “Siberian Karamzin.” However, until very recently the name P.A. Slovtsov remained practically unknown to modern readers. This publication is published under the title “History of Siberia. From Ermak to Catherine II».
