Holy inhabitants, reverends and saints, whose names are listed in the Athos Patericon, from the time of the formation of Athos as the center of Orthodox monasticism, from the era of hesychasm - the activity of St. Nikephoros the Solitary, St. Gregory of Sinaita, St. Gregory Palamas - and to this day, have left us a huge spiritual legacy - evidence of the enduring glory and continuous intercession of the Athonite saints for the human race.
