About the book: year / "Roman Bryansky". The first historical novel in the series “The Fate of the Bryansk Principality.” The book tells about the events of the history of Rus' of the 13th century related to the founding and formation of the Bryansk principality, about the life and work of the outstanding commander and statesman Prince Roman Mikhailovich Bryansk (1225–1290), his relationships with other Russian princes, the Golden Horde khans and Lithuania. The author also describes other Russian principalities, the life of the people of that era, lifting the curtain on many secrets of history and the personal lives of his heroes. "Vasily the Brave." The second historical novel in the series “The Fate of the Bryansk Principality.” The book describes the events of the history of Rus' at the end of the 13th – beginning of the 14th centuries, connected with the life and activities of the Bryansk prince Vasily Alexandrovich the Brave (1262–1314), who received the glorious nickname from the Horde khan Tokhte himself. The action-packed novel covers all aspects of the life of Rus' at that time: conspiracies, intrigues, internecine wars of princes, as well as the joys and sorrows of love that befell the heroes of the work. "Dmitry the Beautiful." The third historical novel in the series “The Fate of the Bryansk Principality” tells about the events of the history of Rus' in the 14th century. In the center is the Bryansk Principality, headed by princes Roman Glebovich (1314–1322) and his son Dmitry the Beautiful (1322–1352), who received his nickname among the people for his extraordinary beauty of face and abundance of love. The Bryansk principality at that time was one of the most powerful in Rus'. Both the Horde khans and Lithuania took the Bryansk princes into account. However, the Moscow princes, who claimed to unite Rus' under their rule, hated Bryansk and did everything to destroy their political rival. But right up to his death, Prince Dmitry Bryansky retains his independence, despite enormous difficulties, internal turmoil and personal losses in life."Roman Young". The fourth historical novel from the series “The Fate of the Bryansk Principality” tells about events from the history of Medieval Rus' related to the life and work of Prince Roman Mikhailovich the Young (1330–1401), his administration of the Bryansk Principality (1357–1363), and his service to the great Moscow princes (1363– 1392) and the Grand Duke of Lithuania Vytautas (1392–1401). The Principality of Bryansk at this time fell into decline and with the death of Roman the Young ceased to exist, becoming part of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania as a remote border province. In a new way, through the prism of facts, historical documents and research by historical scientists, the author describes the most important battles, including the Shishevsky forest (1365), which brought the first victory to Russian soldiers over a large Tatar army, deliberately “forgotten” by apologists of the Moscow princes, not those who wanted to glorify the winner - the Grand Duke of Ryazan Oleg Ivanovich. The author abandoned the traditional praise of the course of the great Moscow princes and examines events taking into account universal human values Contents: 1. Roman Bryansky. 2. Vasily the Brave. 3. Dmitry the Beautiful. 4. Roman Young.
