About the book: 1981 / Aksakov K. S. - Russian publicist, poet, literary critic, historian and linguist, head of Russian Slavophiles and ideologist of Slavophilism; the eldest son of Sergei Timofeevich Aksakov and his wife Olga Semyonovna Zaplatina, daughter of the Suvorov general and captured Turkish woman Igel-Syum. Aksakov defended the originality of Russian life, arguing that all spheres of Russian life suffered from foreign influence, and should be freed from it. He stated that only one form of government is possible for Russia - the Orthodox monarchy. Separating the concepts of “Land” and “State,” he criticized the government for the excessive “yoke of the state over the land,” which was initiated by Peter I. Aksakov was convinced that the patriarchal communal life of Russia guarantees conflict-free (non-revolutionary) development for Russian society and ensures harmony in relations between the tsar, the people, the church and therefore is a reliable guarantee of the future prosperity of Russia.
