About the book: 2008 / The book describes two unique projects of the Academy of Free Travel (AVP). In the Siberian city of Irkutsk (in 2006) and in the Kyrgyz city of Osh (in 2007) “WUA Houses” were opened, where everyone could come for a visit, get information about travel, communicate with colleagues from Russia and different countries, spend the night and stop for any time. About two hundred people from different countries have used these WUA Houses. You will read about how tourist and party life went, about hikes and trips around the Baikal region, Mongolia and Central Asia, and also - the most interesting thing: a look at the Russian and Kyrgyz provinces from the perspective of a person who became not just a guest of these places, but - for some time time - and their true inhabitant.
