MediaDB / «Blank" by Claude Louis-Combe: download fb2, read online
About the book: year / The story "Blank" (one of the most abstract, “white” texts by Claude Louis-Combe), according to the writer himself, was in many ways inspired by the reading of “Frank stories of a wanderer to his spiritual father,” which entailed a certain departure from pagan mythologies towards Christian ones, from the figure of Magna Mater, disastrous for his son, to a strange symbiosis of androgynous hopes and Christian faith. Whiteness in the “ontological thriller” “The Gap” (1980 ) turns out to be not at all a colorless gap in being, but a gap that rhymes with the whiteness of an unwritten page, that Event par excellence, which becomes the leprosy of whiteness, a hopeless, pitch-black discoloration, the dissolution of the very structure, the very texture of being, the stratification of the amalgam of flesh and spirit, the only one capable of becoming a substrate , a bed for the conception of a new body: the Text, which in turn tries to connect without a gap, which inevitably turns into a gap, word and existence, life and writing.
