About the book: 2020 / The Stanislavsky System is based on the theory of stage art, a unique method of acting technique developed by K.S. Stanislavsky from 1900 to 1910, whose goal is to achieve complete psychological authenticity of acting. The system was fully described in the work of K.S. Stanislavsky “The Actor’s Work on Oneself,” which was published in 1938. The book consists of two parts – part I: working on oneself in the creative process of experiencing: a student’s diary and part II: working on oneself in the creative process of embodiment.
