About the book: year / "Chemistry" is a slang name for a colony-settlement, preserved from Soviet times. In today's Ukrainian realities, it is understood as a “correctional center” - a light-security prison. Institutions whose status is not fully understood by either the prisoners or the administration. Alexander Volodarsky, also known as the “shiitman,” after one of his actionist experiences was forced to spend several months in such a correctional center. In prison, with the help of letters, he continued to write his blog. This book is a compilation of notes from the correctional center, later comments on them and journalistic texts written both in prison and in freedom.
