MediaDB / «Life will go out, but I will remain: Collected Works" Gleb Glinka: download fb2, read online
About the book: 2005 / The book for the first time collects almost entirely the poetic and memoir heritage of the outstanding writer of the “second wave” of Russian emigration Gleb Aleksandrovich Glinka (1903-1989). A representative of one of the destroyed movements of Soviet literature, the Pereval group, teacher of the poet Nikolai Glazkov, Glinka lived in the pre-war USSR awaiting arrest until war broke out. The writer was drafted into the "militia" and in the fall of 1941 was captured by the Germans. The poet's fate was unusual: in the USSR he was considered dead, but he was released by the Allies, survived, lived first in Belgium, later in the USA, where he joined the flow of emigrant literature and wrote until the end of his life. In addition to approximately two hundred poems, the book contains the first published full text of the book "At the Pass" and selected articles on literature.
