About the book: 1969 / Dialogues on Mathematics, brought to the attention of Soviet readers, initially published in some physical and philosophical journals, later compiled into a book published in Hungarian, German , English and other European languages. Both the articles and the collection aroused great interest among a wide range of readers, not only due to the original form of presentation, but also due to a rather deep interpretation of methodological issues in mathematics. The book was read not only by mathematicians, physicists, biologists, engineers, but also by schoolchildren. It gave each category of readers food for thought. In it, readers found answers to many fundamental questions that arose during the author’s meetings and conversations with scientists - physicists, mathematicians and biologists.
