About the book: 2024 / The story “Sisters in the Forest” by Sofya Blagaya was written in 1955, but it is being published for the first time. It describes a true incident about how she and her daughters, 4 and 5 years old, got lost in the Ural forest. Sofya Dmitrievna Blagaya (1916–1984) was a teacher of Russian language and literature, graduated from the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute. A.S. Bubnova (now MPGU). On the cover there is a painting by the artist Roman Chudnovsky “Pines”. The story “Sisters in the Forest” will be interesting for both children and adults.
