About the book: year / During the golden age of the reign of Catherine the Great, considerable things were accomplished. Prince Potemkin, the empress's favorite, headed the Department of Foreign Relations and developed vigorous activity to strengthen the southern borders of the Russian Empire. One of the strategic objectives was to annex the Crimean Khanate in order to establish a foothold for the Russians in the Black Sea. Back in 1765, Catherine issued a decree on the creation of an extensive network of secret agents in the Northern Black Sea region and Crimea. In order to collect information and prepare peace negotiations, the Russian embassy is sent to Bakhchisarai, in which Potemkin includes a young woman, the widow of the officer Arzhanov who died in the war, with the secret task of winning over Khan Shahin-Girey. At the end of the 18th century, Russian diplomacy, the Russian army and Russian foreign intelligence opposed the aggressive policy of the Ottoman Empire in the Northern Black Sea region. The fight against Turkish intelligence in these territories was serious. Ottoman agents acted here as if at home. The secret agent of Empress Catherine the Great, Anastasia Arzhanova, goes to Crimea at the head of an expedition of Her Majesty’s secret office with a special mission: to help His Serene Highness Khan Shahin-Girey retain his throne in a difficult political situation. “Black Redistribution” is the second book in a series of historical novels about the adventures of secret agent Anastasia Arzhanova. In the 70s of the 18th century, a number of strategic issues that were most important for the Russian Empire were being resolved: the annexation of Crimea, the creation of the Black Sea Fleet, designed to effectively protect the southern borders of our country. This could only be achieved through the joint efforts of the Russian army, Russian diplomacy and Russian foreign intelligence. The secret and most experienced agent of Her Majesty Catherine the Second, Anastasia Arzhanova, relying on the help of the sailors of the Azov flotilla, brilliantly carries out the special secret assignment of the queen: His Serene Highness Khan Shahin-Girey must abdicate the throne, which will create conditions for the establishment of a new navy and the founding of its main bases on the Black Sea - the city of Sevastopol. After the annexation of the Crimean Khanate to Russia in the summer of 1783, the situation on the peninsula remained difficult. The Islamic underground, with the support of Turkey, continued its illegal activities. Therefore, Anastasia Arzhanova, a secret and most experienced agent of Empress Catherine II, a specialist in the East, is sent to Crimea as a resident of Russian intelligence. When the queen travels through the southern regions of the Russian Empire in 1787, Arzhanova is entrusted with ensuring the safety of the empress in a restless, recently annexed region, and she copes with this task brilliantly. The Second Russian-Turkish War begins. Arzhanova receives a new important task - to obtain secret drawings of the Ochakov fortress in Istanbul, which our army will besiege. Returning to Russia with the drawings in November 1788, the young woman takes part in the famous assault on Ochakov and again meets with her former lover - Field Marshal General His Serene Highness Prince Potemkin-Tavrichesky. The second Russian-Turkish war continues, and Austria is Russia's ally. Her Emperor Joseph II is a longtime friend and like-minded person of Catherine the Great. By order of the empress, His Serene Highness Prince Potemkin-Tauride sends his beloved, experienced intelligence agent Anastasia Arzhanova, to the capital of the Holy Roman Empire. She travels under a diplomatic “roof” and must win the trust of the emperor, but Joseph II dies. After his death, Austria violates its allied obligations to Russia and concludes a separate peace with Turkey. A copy of this international convention with secret paragraphs falls into the hands of Arzhanova... Contents: Cycle: "Her Majesty's Secret Agent" - 1. Begunova A. Cameos for the Empress - 1.2.
