About the book: 2000 / Works of V.G. Shershenevich (1893–1942) represents one of the peaks of Russian lyricism of the 20th century. He wrote poetry following the aesthetic principles of a wide variety of literary movements: symbolism, ego-futurism, cubo-futurism, imagism. This publication presents selected poems and poems by Vadim Shershenevich - both included in his main books and those not published during the poet’s lifetime. Early books, as well as poems, are published in fragments. Books representing the most mature period of Shershenevich’s work are published in full - “A Horse Like a Horse”, “So the Bottom Line”, separate editions of the dramatic works “Rapidity” and “The Eternal Jew”.
