  • MediaDB / «Golden Times" Alexander Siletsky: download fb2, read online

About the book: year / Grotesque, satire, fantasy, black humor - all these genres are presented under one cover. There is good reason for this. The Soviet Union (by the way, a unique country that did not have a self-name - after all, it could just as well have been written not as the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, but, say, as the Union of Leaky Nickel-Plated Kettles!) happily collapsed a quarter of a century ago, but Soviet insanity is still continues to live and even flourish in the minds of the inhabitants of many former Soviet republics (including in Russia itself). And it doesn’t matter when the events unfold on the pages of the book - in a strange future, in a wild past or in an absurd present. They all have one thing in common: rejection of Soviet ideology and, thus, the desire, at least on the literary field, to get even with it through open ridicule.
