About the book: 1918 / "World of Adventure" (magazine) - Russian and a Soviet illustrated magazine (collection) of novels and stories, which was published in 1910–1918 and 1922–1930 by publisher P. P. Soykin (initially as a supplement to the magazine “Nature and People”). From 1912 to 1926 (inclusive), the magazine did not number pages, but columns - two per page, even if in fact there was only one column per page. The magazine was published during the years of grandiose restructuring of the rules of the Russian language. Often in a book there are different spellings of the same words. That's how they wrote it then. In this connection, the original spelling has been preserved as much as possible, with the exception of obvious typos.
