About the book: 1982 / The book of the famous Belarusian poet, critic and literary critic Oleg Loiko recreates the life and creative path of one of the most outstanding representatives of the republic's literature, the people's poet Yanka Kupala. Making extensive use of documentary material, drawing on archival sources and memories of contemporaries, the author shows the inseparability of the fate of the great poet from the historical destinies of Belarus in the 20th century. The book is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Yanka Kupala and the 60th anniversary of the formation of the USSR.
