About the book: 1980 / The book is dedicated to the life and work of one of the greatest thinkers of the Middle Ages - Ibn Sina (980-1037). The author analyzes the natural science, philosophical and socio-ethical ideas of the thinker, traces the influence of the encyclopedic works he created on various philosophical schools of the East and West. During the analysis, traditional ideas about the philosophy of Ibn Sina, as well as about Eastern Peripatetic philosophy in general, are subject to a critical reassessment. The Appendix provides a translation of the allegorical work of the thinker.
