About the book: 2001 / In the 1998/1999 academic year, professor at Xavier University (USA, Ohio) Michael Sweeney read in Moscow (as part of Fulbright program) three series of lectures on the philosophy of the Middle Ages: “Medieval Christian Philosophy”, “Medieval Muslim and Jewish Philosophy” (in the Greco-Latin Cabinet), “Political Philosophy of the Middle Ages” (in the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences). This issue opens the publication of these lectures. The book is intended for students of higher educational institutions and anyone interested in the philosophy of the Middle Ages.
