About the book: 2020 / "Routes of Happiness" begins in the mid-seventies, at a time when life seemed, if not easy, then relatively predictable, when St. Petersburg was called Leningrad, and those who are now well over fifty were young and naive. Using the example of four classmates, it is obvious that not only “Moscow does not believe in tears,” but life in Leningrad is not easy for girls from the provinces. But they are quite strong and persistent and, walking through victories and disappointments, small and large tragedies that await them everywhere, they achieve quite a lot. Now there is a different rhythm of life, different opportunities and guidelines, but at all times people want to be loved. Watching the fates of provincial women who came to Leningrad in 1975, some will simply be pleased to remember the important details of this irretrievably gone time, while others will be easier to understand on what and how the most important value for any person is built - family.
