About the book: 2019 / An employee of a provincial museum is writing a book about Vasily Konevich, a local landowner, poet, killed in the mid-19th century. During her investigation, it turns out that in the investigative documents an innocent person is accused, that the witnesses and participants in that long-standing story were the sister of her great-great-grandfather and the ancestors of some of her friends.
