About the book: 2021 / The published works included in the first volume reflect the author’s understanding of the need under any political and economic circumstances to continue the ideological, including including the theoretical struggle for the preservation, development of socialism and its development into complete communism. As it has now become clear, after the counter-revolution carried out at the 22nd Congress, revisionist views, that is, covered with Marxist terminology, but essentially bourgeois views, began to spread more and more, and the task of the Marxists became to expose and overcome them. The author at this time - in 1971, after graduating from the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics of Leningrad State University, entered graduate school at the Faculty of Economics of Leningrad State University and worked on a dissertation in the specialty of political economy on the topic “The relationship between qualitative and quantitative analysis in Marxist political economy,” which he successfully defended in 1971, was accepted as an assistant in the department of political economy and expanded his scientific work on the defense and development of Marxist views. Together with the dean of the Faculty of Economics, a participant in the Great Patriotic War, Professor N.A. Moiseenko, he prepared the book “Democratic centralism - the basic principle of managing a socialist economy”, published in Lenizdat in a 15,000th edition, reproduced in this volume, in which a frontal analysis and criticism was given economic revisionism. With this book, one might say, the conscious class struggle of the authors in the sphere of ideology begins, in which, of course, there were not only opponents, but also allies with whom the author established and maintained combative creative contact. This book received positive reviews, but attempts to give it a scathing review failed. But the opponents then actively tried to prevent the author from defending his doctoral dissertation, which he nevertheless defended with the support of his colleagues in 1987 in the specialty “The Theory of Scientific Communism”».
