About the book: year / The book “The Second Kuban Campaign and the Liberation of the North Caucasus” is the sixth volume in a series dedicated to the White movement in Russia, and introduces the reader to the battles of the Volunteer army in the second half of 1918, according to the recollections of participants in these battles. For the first time, the book presents in such completeness the testimonies of not only the leaders of the anti-communist struggle, but also its ordinary participants, making it possible to visualize the situation and atmosphere of that time, the psychology and spiritual appearance of the first volunteers. With a few exceptions, the materials contained in the volume have never been published in Russia, and those published abroad are a bibliographic rarity. The volume is equipped with a preface and extensive comments containing several hundred biographical information published for the first time about the authors and heroes of the essays.
